I had been waiting for this day for a really long time. Since fall of 2004. In my head I always pictured a fall day. I should’ve known I would return in the winter. That’s where I belong. Our schedule: College Bookstore, Bagel Street Deli, Convocation Center, Botanical Garden, Red Brick Tavern. It was magical. Proof? Empty table at Bagel Streeet Deli. Post-game celebration parking spot directly in front of the tavern. Road trip home snacking on D.P. Dough (correct order) and donuts. Magic.
